Networkz2000 is a special events and marketing company originally incorporated in New York City in 1997. The company's President, Anthony Simons, has over 14 years experience producing large scale fashion, entertainment, and business networking events throughout New York and the Caribbean.
The goal of Networkz2000 is to help expand the art, culture and entertainment offerings in the city of Charlotte, and to increase tourism to the region. The company's commitment to this goal is demonstrated through its development of industry workshops and professional events designed to assist models and designers in learning the business aspect of the industry and by the number of opportunities it creates for those looking to network with more experienced professionals in the business.
Charlotte NC Fashion Week was established in 2008 as a way for emerging designers, boutiques, models and fashion students to showcase their designs and talent before an audience of style experts, retail consumers and the media. Recognizing the rapid changes in today's economy, CNCFW provides a way for those in the fashion, retail and beauty industries to remain relevant by providing them with an affordable way to promote their products and their businesses on a local and national level.
In 2009 The Charlotte NC Fashion Week Advisory Board was formed as a way to expand the event into other markets. The board consists of several local businessmen and women representing local media, marketing and public relations firms, event planners, image consultants, stylists and others who have come together to support the city's expansion of fashion, art and culture in the region.
