The Blumenthal Presents ( 9 to 5) Special Lunchtime Workshop

Bring your appetite to a free lunchtime presentation at the Booth Playhouse (upper lobby) on Thur. Sept. 23rd from 12PM – 1PM. To help prepare you for the Broadway show, 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL coming to Ovens Auditorium on October 5-10, Tom Hanchett from Levine Museum of the New South will describe the struggles and achievements of women in the late 70s—including the mass entrance of women into the corporate world which forever changed American society.

Modeling for the New Generation Workshop

So you think you have what it takes to command attention on the catwalk? Get pointers from a pro one of the most dynamic model coaches in the business. Runway coach extraordinaire Alva Page. Alva has trained high fashion models from all around the country. His models go on to book job in New York Fashion Week and other prominent fashion shows . Alva, has been featured on "BET's Rip the Runway" and MTV's "Made" He was the Red Carpet host of the Carolina Music Awards and recently trained models for the Banana Republic charity fashion show in July. These days, Alva is in high demand coaching models the right techniques, posture, attitude and professionalism.

CNCFW In-Focus Photo shoot and Model Contest

Calling all models.....Male and female, all ethnicities

Are you an aspiring model? Have ever been told "You look like a model" now is your chance to see if you have what it takes.

Join Media Arts Collective Thursday -Saturday during Charlotte Fashion Week for the CNCFW In-Focus Photo shoot and Modeling Contest.

We are giving one lucky winner each night a chance to win a complete photo shoot and portfolio courtesy of Media Arts Collective. Come to the model photo lounge on the second level of Founders Hall and register. Make sure to wear your hottest, look. We'll even touch up your hair and makeup, or give you a fantasy look. You will have 15 minutes to get ready.

Each contestant will get up to five photos to capture that perfect look! Judging will be held by our photography expert and selected audience members. Winners will be announced each evening during the man event of Charlotte NC Fashion Week.
